Top 5 Maps and Navigation Apps on Android in Slovakia Q2 2023

The second quarter of 2023 saw significant activity in the Maps and Navigation category on the Android platform in Slovakia. Here’s a breakdown of the performance for the top five apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Sygic GPS Navigation & Maps experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, starting from around $1K at the end of March and peaking at approximately $3.9K by the end of June. Weekly downloads displayed a steady upward trend, rising from around 755 to 1.2K. Weekly active users also grew steadily, reaching close to 2.7K by the last week of June.

Locus Map 4 Outdoor Navigation showed a varied revenue trend, with figures fluctuating between $300 and $679. Downloads ranged from about 209 to 373 weekly, while active users saw a slight dip towards the end of the quarter, ending at approximately 1.1K.

Sygic GPS Truck & Caravan showed a relatively stable performance. Revenue ranged between $200 and $421, while weekly downloads hovered around the 120 to 180 mark. Active users remained consistent, averaging around 450 throughout the quarter.

Navionics® Boating saw its revenue peak at nearly $500 in the final week of June. Downloads increased steadily from 23 to 95 weekly, and active users grew from 38 to 108, indicating a rising interest in the app over the quarter.

TomTom GO Navigation reported a revenue increase from $243 to $352. Downloads were highest at the beginning of April at 363, but saw a decline towards the end of June, reaching 147. Active users fluctuated, ending the quarter at around 389.
